- You have advanced AutoCAD Electrical skills to create a control panel cutout, layout and wiring diagrams, detail engineering
- drawings and create smart symbol libraries.
- You have five+ years experience as a control system designer across multiple industries.
- You have the ability to create drawing standards by working with both manufacturing and engineering.
- You have a working knowledge of NEC, UL and all applicable regulations along with best practices experience.
- You may have experience in water/wastewater treatment, hazardous location/ATEX controls or machine safety (a plus but not required).

- Perform wiring and assembly operations involving intricate and precise apparatuses and involved circuits on a diversified line of large and extensive custom or standard electrical assemblies such as remote and centralized control panels or equivalent equipment having strict inspection requirements and critical operational tolerances.
- Plan and layout work having variations in standard procedures when required.
- Install all types of apparatus such as controls, relays, compensators, capacitors, breakers, etc.

- Two or four year engineering degree.
- Five to ten years experience as a control system designer across multiple industries
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter and team player who takes pride in building high-quality systems
- Personable, social, communication and relationship skills to enhance interaction with customers in determining their needs and building long term win-win relationships
- Analytical skills to determine operational requirements, design criteria and limits, cost/benefit analysis and component selection for the customer’s application
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deal with customer requests and changes in the professional manner required; understanding and communicating the cost impact of these changes is critical
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment, hazardous location/ATEX controls or machine safety a big plus
- Technical skills to design robust, UL/CSA compliant and safe systems
- The necessary skill set will include (but is not limited to) —
- A working knowledge of the NEC, UL, CSA and all applicable regulations, along with best practices experience. Also, a thorough knowledge of our in-house engineering and manufacturing guidelines is to be quickly developed
- Demonstrated ability to create and document functional specification to the customer’s requirements
- Proficient AutoCAD Electrical skills for creating control panel cutout, layout and wiring diagrams. Strong spatial awareness and panel layout best-practice skills are a must
- Allen Bradley/Horner/GE/Siemens (and other brands) PLC, interface and data acquisition programming skills
- Motion control, PC and database programming ability a plus
- Hands-on panel-building and field start-up experience a must
- Strong testing and troubleshooting skills
