• You have a minimum two year asso­ciates degree in industrial controls or automation.

• You have advanced AutoCAD Elec­tri­cal skills to create a control panel cutout, layout and wiring diagrams, detail engineering
• drawings and create smart symbol libraries.

• You have the ability to create drawing stan­dards by working with both man­u­fac­tur­ing and engineering.

• Perform wiring and assembly oper­a­tions involv­ing intri­cate and precise appa­ra­tuses and involved circuits on a diver­si­fied line of large and exten­sive custom or standard elec­tri­cal assem­blies such as remote and cen­tral­ized control panels or equiv­a­lent equip­ment having strict inspec­tion require­ments and critical oper­a­tional tolerances.
• Plan and layout work having vari­a­tions in standard pro­ce­dures when required.
• Install all types of appa­ra­tus such as controls, relays, com­pen­sators, capac­i­tors, breakers, etc.

• Tech­ni­cal skills to design robust, UL/CSA com­pli­ant and safe systems
• The nec­es­sary skill set will include (but is not limited to) —
  • A working knowl­edge of the NEC, UL, CSA and all applic­a­ble reg­u­la­tions, along with best prac­tices expe­ri­ence. Also, a thorough knowl­edge of our in-house engi­neer­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing guide­lines is to be quickly developed
  • Demon­strated ability to create and document func­tional spec­i­fi­ca­tion to the customer’s requirements
  • Pro­fi­cient AutoCAD Elec­tri­cal skills for creating control panel cutout, layout and wiring diagrams. Strong spatial aware­ness and panel layout best-practice skills are a must
  • Allen Bradley/Horner/GE/Siemens (and other brands) PLC, inter­face and data acqui­si­tion pro­gram­ming skills
  • Motion control, PC and database pro­gram­ming ability a plus
  • Hands-on panel-building and field start-up expe­ri­ence a must
  • Strong testing and trou­bleshoot­ing skills
