Don is Co-CEO and COO and is responsible for riding herd on The ICC engineering team and the deep inventory of value-added services they provide to our clients. Don’s own technical specialties include PLC, interface, data acquisition and motion control systems development and implementation. Don received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and holds a Lean Manufacturing Certification from the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP). Away from the shop, Don enjoys spending time with his wife and son, competing in adventure/obstacle runs and is a former member of the legendary Killer Bees MG race team.
Timothy N. Thorn, Managing Partner

In his dual roles as Co-CEO and CFO, Tim carries out the directives of the partners/officers while minding day-to-day operations with the customer support team and finance. Tim’s focus is on project leadership and management with an emphasis on best practices and compliance with current and upcoming standards. Tim received his BA in Finance and Management from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. If all that weren’t enough, Tim is also a former National Water Ski Champion and former member of the Badgerland Water Ski Show Team.

Jim’s focus is on our manufacturing processes, problem-solving, and project management. Drawing on his background in automotive manufacturing, Jim has helped ICC gain advantages with lean/TPS manufacturing environment, automotive level quality management systems (ISO/TS certified companies), root cause analysis and statistical problem solving capabilities. Jim earned his BS in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is certified in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management and quality systems using SPC and DOE.
Mike Hagen, Sales Manager

Mike leads all sales and marketing initiatives. In addition to developing new customer relationships and overseeing customer satisfaction, Mike is responsible for development of new products and new markets. Mike received both his BS and BSBM in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. Mike’s peak on-the-job experience was when, during his former life as a consultant to the aviation industry, he became the first non-Honda team member to fly the Honda Jet.
Rick Griffiths, Chief Engineer

Rick is our Senior Project Engineer with responsibilities for Project Management and Product/Process Design and Enhancement. Rick possesses multiple certifications, with a special focus on Hazardous Locations, with Explosion-Proof Panesl (NNNY) and Panels with Intrinsically Safe (IS) barriers (UL 698A, NRBX). His BS in Electrical Engineering was earned from The University of Toledo (OH) and is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP).
