This person will be responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the general accounting, payroll and HR functions of the organization and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results.

Requirements / Duties Include:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment including cost accounting and inventory management
Ensuing AP, AR, GL and other data is entered into the system accurately and on a timely basis by accounting personnel
Establishing monthly closing schedule
Review and approve journal entries and adjustments to the general ledger
Analyze and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of the department operations
Work with internal and external auditors to verify financial reports
Process payroll, attendance and insurance related data
Process commission reports
Process the daily banking needs
Support the owners with special projects and workflow process improvements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Have strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced setting

Desired Skills and Experience
• Five+ years of experience as a control system designer and estimator across multiple industries.
• Two or four-year engineering degree.
• A working knowledge of the NEC, UL, CSA and other applicable regulations.
• Proficient AutoCAD skills along with strong spatial awareness and best practice experience in designing control panels.
• PLC, interface and data acquisition programming experience.
• Motion control, PC and database programming experience a plus.
• Strong testing and field startup experience along with customer support and troubleshooting skills are important.
